Which education product are you building?
An education app may be a self-paced course platform, cohort-based learning product, school communication system or internal training portal. These models differ in enrolment, teacher involvement, content control, assessment and reporting.
Define the learner outcome first. A video library, school operations app and assessed LMS should not share one undifferentiated feature list because their daily users and evidence of progress are different.
Structure courses beyond uploaded files
Course structure can include modules, lessons, prerequisites, release dates and completion rules. Content teams need draft, review and publish states so learners do not see unfinished or outdated material.
Make learner progress explainable
Progress should reflect an agreed rule such as lesson completion, assessment submission or attendance. Learners and administrators need to understand why a course appears incomplete.
Give teachers actionable controls
Teachers may need cohort rosters, assignment review, feedback, announcements and exceptions. Avoid giving content authors access to billing or organization-wide administration unless their role requires it.
Design quizzes and assignments separately
Auto-graded quizzes need question rules, attempts and scoring. Assignments need submission formats, deadlines, review, feedback and resubmission. Treating both as one generic assessment flow creates unclear results.
Handle enrolment, payment and access
Define whether learners self-enrol, receive an invitation or join through an organization. Payment success, refunds, course expiry and transferred enrolments should update access consistently.
Issue certificates from verified criteria
A certificate should be generated only after defined completion requirements are met. Preserve a verification identifier or lookup method when external recipients need to confirm it.

| Cohort program | Learn with schedule and teacher | Attendance and deadlines |
| School app | Coordinate school communication | Roles and student linkage |
| Internal LMS | Assign organizational training | Groups and compliance reporting |
| Assessment product | Test and review knowledge | Question, attempt and scoring rules |
How GreenAlpha scopes education platforms
GreenAlpha Technology can map learner, teacher, content and admin workflows into a web or mobile delivery plan. Scope depends on learning model, media, assessments, enrolment, payments, reporting and organization hierarchy.
